Fall show opening 5:30pm 9/6 at Pinkwater Gallery -@- Kingston Social
Pinkwater Gallery -@- Kingston Social
237 Fair Street
Kingston, NY
Pinkwater Gallery, which spotlights the work of contemporary women artists, was voted Best Art Gallery by the readers of Chronogram in 2023. The gallery recently moved from its original location to become part of Kingston Social, Uptown’s favorite new spot for authentic Italian coffee plus a curated selection of gifts and goods for the home.

Kristin Osterberg (b. 1963, American) lives and works in the New York City area. She has shown her work extensively at The Painting Center, NYC and throughout Westchester County. In addition to her solo show at Pinkwater Gallery in 2024, she will have a one-woman show at The Painting Center in April 2025. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. In her distinctive, painterly canvases, Osterberg’s figures inhabit pockets of calm in time and space—even if the time is rush-hour and the space the NYC subway. Preview the show on the website and join us in Kingston on September 6!

Handcrafted Oktoberfest at Rhinebeck
Dutchess County Fair Grounds
6550 Springbrook Ave Rte. 9
Rhinebeck, NY
The annual Handcrafted Oktoberfest will be held October 5-6 at the historic Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. Rhinebeck’s first Oktoberfest at the fairgrounds brings together the handcrafted, artisanal and agricultural — from wearable fine craft and laudable fine art to the Hudson River Valley’s best brew, wine, specialty foods, apothecary goods and an abundance of harvest attractions. In addition to live craft demos and browsing rows of one-of-a-kind handmade furniture, jewelry, ceramics, glass, fiber art, and more, visitors will interact with farm animals, partake in an agri-venture center and pumpkin contest, ride a horse-drawn hay wagon, and watch pumpkin carving by the master of the craft. And, of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without the season’s best beer, wine, spirits, gourmet specialties, and fresh Germanic food. Get your early bird discount tickets now!
